See all Seven Winners!

VAJ is happy to announce the release of a new book by staff member Aggie Villanueva, a compilations of interviews posted here during 2009.

For this week only we are offering four random commentors a free ebook version. Four commentors will each win the electronic version of their choice . Choose from over ten ebook formats to read it on whatever e-reader you use, including a straight pdf file for your computer.

Everyone loves interviews. I think what we love is that feeling of sitting down for a chat with leaders in our field, while they share their secrets of success and insider tips. It’s the most entertaining form of learning that I know of.

Visual Arts Junction http://www.visualartsjunction.com is emerging as a go-to spot for insightful interviews because we have several staff writers prowling the world for interviews from several continents. For this reason, as 2009 plays out, it’s only fitting that we offer these, VAJ’s hottest 2009 authors.

I hope you win, Bob. One thing though. Be sure to put your email address in your comment so we can send it if you win. Thankx so much. And Merry Christmas.

Hi Bob. I deleted you addy for privacy. The only reason we ask that (I know it's not private) but the reason is that some peoples email address that they use to subscribe is so unrelated to their name that we don't know if they are just a regular subscriber, or if they wanted to enter a specific contest. We often have more than one going.

But yours was totally recognizable when I got your subscription. So no need for it to be posted here. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Wow. Really, the first comment? Sweet! Very excited about the prospect of winning the Aggie Villanueva book (ebook .mobi format please!)

  4. Alanna Klapp says:

Hi Aggie! What do I think of interviews? I love love LOVE interviews! All interviews, but especially author interviews! I've told you this before, authors are like rock stars to me, and I am priviledged to be able to interview a few of the myself. I'm looking forward to reading the 2009 interviews, and looking forward to more in 2010!

  5. I am passionate to tell the story of the international adoption of my two beautiful daughters as a single mother. The memoir is told in my recent book Children of Dreams. I went from spurned wife of an unfaithful husband after putting him through medical school to going back to college and getting my undergraduate degree, traveling the world, getting caught up in the '93 Gulf War in Jerusalem, dealing with a medical mystery involving worms in the brain, and much more, not the least of which was recommitting my life to Jesus Christ. I am working on a new novel and pursuing my Master of Arts in Creative Writing. I also provide closed captioning for television as a stay-at-home mom, and have homeschooled both my daughters. My youngest one is now eleven and my oldest will be nineteen next month. I hope to eventually teach creative writing in China to university students
